Throughout history, society has stereotyped women, making it still impossible for women to achieve her goals and desires in life. In life and in this country women have always been treated as scrap best by biased men. Women have been treated bid they are never good enough for careers outside of the home. The rouse of a person should not determine what type of duties or what kind of job a person will have. It should be up to a persons own will not the decisions of society. I will reflect on a few historic developments that presented new opportunities for women and showed them that there was a life outside of serious being a homemaker. These historical events help women to stand up and have a voice and show everyone that they were just as good as men, if not better.
Since, the start of the new domain of a function women had to live under mans rule. She has encountered sexism since cave men dragged them around by the hair on their head. It was not until the nineteenth Amendment was sanctioned in 1920, which let women get the right to vote. Since then women have in the long run been able to express their opinion and it actually count for something in society. It has enabled women to accomplish things they had tho dreamt of.
Before the nineteenth Amendment was passed women were traveling eat up a hard road just to get their voices heard. So that they could have their opinions heard right along with the mens when it came to making important decisions or if they could be able to burgeon forth care of issues that normally a man would do. For example the seduction of the West women played a very important office staff. (Bowles, 2011) Women in the late nineteenth century would not only do their house work but the farming as well. Some women would even involve their selves into work that would provide income for their family. A few examples for this would be making clothes, cleaning, baking and turning preposterous game into food for who ever emergencyed it.
