In the dark, damp forest the soldiers lay asleep upon the darksome sludge of the Vietnamese jungle. A weary man girdle up as a look-out; his tired eyes outgrowth to droop as he hears the rain trickle on his poncho. For a split second the soldier opens his eyes, he sees something trap the far distance that just doesnt seem right. It starts to move. As the soldier focuses his eyes, he sees what he thinks is a Vietcong man with a rifle. He freezes. As the figure approaches, it seems as if it multiplied. The soldier panicked, he went to grab for his AR-15, but it was out of reach. The soldier thought that he and his brothers were all going to die. This is what every soldier felt. They were afraid that they wouldnt see the next sun overture or even see their families ever again, but on that point were those few who could care less roughly the war and being there to fight. These men who fought in the war, saw and experienced awful events that which in turn would scar them for life. These memories that Vietnam Veterans hold from the war stomach stayed with them as a mental wound. These scars have affected them greatly; some have committed suicide, or have gone(a) insane.
