An Ecological Economy
Icy icy seas experiencing fast-paced melting, an extreme increase in average seasonal temperature, and the decrease of production using natural resources due to overleap of sustainability all these are the effects of a severe world(a) warming crisis. Simultaneously, the United States is facing one of the worst scotchal recessions in its history, which is partly characterized by the failure of the economic policies to fuse sustainable goods into the market. Is it possible that the answer to the purlieual problems lies within the rattling economy that has failed to acknowledge the situation for years? Will scrimping the environment cause the economy to suffer, or will scrimping the economy ignore the environmental chaos? At what bit do the two causes complement one another to cave in re resultant role? These questions call not only for solution, but for action. The hot seat of the Earth Policy Institute, Lester Brown, states in an article he titles The Eco-Economic Revolution, that the solution is the transformation of our economy into one that is focused on one thousand initiatives.



He suggests the building of an eco-economy. He urges people to anticipate the emerging eco-economy and plan for it, because, those who cling to the past risk becoming a part of it (Brown, Eco-Economic 32). This argument effectively offers a solution to the environmental crisis, and still yet, offers solace to those more concerned with their jobs and paychecks than the holes in the atmosphere.
It is unvarnished that the economy would completely collapse without the resources provided by the environment. It is also true, however, that the environment is on the verge of disaster due to lack of economic support.
