INTRODUCTION

I decided to research the salon environment and given the excerpt of how clients would wish their salon to feel like. I decided on this topic to assist me in my testify name and address of how to quite a little my salon up at home.

As I drive mixed views about my décor and layout, I wish to progress to a general impression of what clients look for in a salon. People have different ideas and taste, so while it is unsurmountable to please everyone I want to determine the most everyday trends that emerge.





Throughout my research I have tried to go up out two things: what clients want in a salon; a brief insight of salons already in the skirt field of force.

For this assignment I put together a questionnaire for clients to have it off: their ideal salon. A focus group was position with quintet mothers to examine the questions in more detail and also arranged phone interviews with four salon owners.

For secondary sources, I looked at local hair and beauty salons in and around the area of Huntingdon, as they are my competition and being local I have easy access to view their facilities and make my own judgement. I also looked on the internet for sources on this topic.
