Madam C. J. Walker innate(p) Sarah Breedlove was born on December 23, 1867 in Delta, Louisiana to parents Owen and Minerva Breedlove, both whom were change state slaves on Robert W. Burneys Madison Parish Farm. She was peerless of six children, atomic number 53 older sister, Louvenia and four brothers, Alexander, James, Solomon, and Owen Jr. At the mount up of seven, her parents died during the epidemic of yellow fever and she move with her sister Louvenia. At the age of ten her and her sister moved to Vicksburg and worked in the cotton fields. At the age of fourteen she married Moses McWilliams to escape the treat of her sisters husband, Jessie Powell. At the age of eighteen she had her unless daughter Lelia McWilliams (ALelia Walker) born June 6, 1885. At the age of twenty, her husband Moses McWilliams died and she moved to St. Louis where her four brothers were barbers. She then went on to marry John Davis on August 11, 1894 and divorced in 1903. She became active in the St.

During the 1890s Sarah started to lose her pigsbreadth due to melodic line and damaging hair care products.
