I think William has already create an attribution explaining why he fails to create a perfect drawing ground on his past experiences, which makes him pick up a weakness humor. Another way, I think Mr. Mercurio may have come along William is to sit down with him earlier in the semester to speak more or less the issue. He should explain to William using the personal fable mode and tell him he understands what he is going through at this age because he was young once. This may also pass on William to express himself because he feels no one may of all time understand what is going on. I strongly look at if he kept optimistic expectations and attributions it would benefit Williams his self-efficacy, and he would not have to commit suicide at such a young age. According to Ormrod, the age William has committed suicide is a common age in which teenagers is taking risks and still essay to find their identity.
Williams habit of continuously wanting to be a perfectionist is difficult because a person with that type of mentality will never find ultimate satisfaction. I believe that something might have happened to William when he was young because he is always worry nearly how others perceive about him, however, we do not have enough information to jell whether this is true or not. Mr. Mercurios teaching strategies need to suffice remove the helplessness mentality that William has.
