I dont want the characters to be more than 12 feet apart at anytime during the show, I want to create visual pictures of couples entering from the cover version garden door into the world of the play with either Vera and Aleksey school term on a bench talking and the others overlooking them.
On August 1-19th of the upcoming summer a World premier translation of A Month in the Country will be premiered at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The play has been Translated by Richard Nelson, Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky.
